Chris and I hiked about 1.5 miles down to this spot for sunrise one morning while staying in LaPush, WA on the Olympic Coast of Washington. We were fortunate to land here at low-tide, which yielded this little tidal river, and lots of life-infested tidal pools. I managed to catch the first rays of sunlight on the seastack , while the clouds above took on the golden color of the morning light.
