My goal was to make an evocative image of this pastoral scene. This is a good example of why it pays to look behind you for possible photographs; my tendency is to stay focussed on what's in front of me. I was driving along this road in the springtime, when I glanced in my mirror to find the bucolic scene I was searching for. The hues were a little too cool (blue) for me, so I placed an 81B warming filter in front of my lens. Later, in Photoshop, I added a little blue back to the foggy background for some added dimension. I also cropped for a more panoramic perspective
