This sleeping beauty was a shot I conceived of for a color-of-light assignment in my color photography class. I think it's pretty obvious that the effect I was after was light entering through a door ajar into a moonlit bedroom. The blue ambient "moonlight" was affected by a blue gel over a studio flash, and the warm "cracked-door light" from a yellow-gelled flash.
