In typical fashion, I was swept up by the spaciousness and dominance of the New Mexico sky, and was sensing my diminutive stature amidst the ancient history of Taos Pueblo. I wanted to associate and emphasize these somehow complementary forces, so I shot with a very wide-angle lens (20mm) from a low perspective. I'm struck by the way the mountains mimick the adobe pueblo and how the pueblo seems almost as natural as the earth and sky. I wonder if that was the whole idea way back when.
