The Maryland State House is prominently located in downtown Annapolis, and makes for a great counterpoint to lots of photographic subjects. I made the hour drive to Annapolis before sunrise on a beautiful winter morning. At sunrise the streets were largely vacant, except for some walkers and joggers. And the winter light was very pretty, as can be seen here.
