This is my first view of Mount Whitney and the Sierra Crest. It's taken from the Eastern Sierra Interagency Visitor Center at Rt. 136 and 395 (Main Street). The Alabama Hills are the brown foreground feature, Lone Pine Peak, left midground, Mt. Whitney, Keeler Needle and the Sierra Crest in the background.
