an introduction. Note that Jim Emery Photography is engaged in the business of
stock photography and charges competitive rates with consideration based
on the following factors:
- Publication media type
- Size of published image
- Circulation of publication
- Distribution of publication

- Advertising or Editorial usage
- Exclusivity of use
- Duration of use

Despite the fact that I incur great expense in
producing images, I am frequently propositioned to give away my photographs
for use in commercial ventures in exchange for a photo credit. Note that
a photographer's credit is in no way a worthy substitute for remuneration. It's
akin to eating at a fine restaurant and rather than paying assure the
chef that you'll "tell everyone how great the food is"! If,
and only if, you are helping the underpriveleged of the world will we
consider donation requests as we would choose any charity. Also,
within this context special consideration may be given for tax-deductible
donations.
