I had not seen the film, "Airforce One" prior to snapping this photo of the namesake aircraft during the G7 Summit in Denver. I was employed at DIA at the time and the military guards were kind enough to allow these shots. After seeing the film, this picture has all-new meaning to me. Just where is the "escape pod" anyway? Shot on daylight film with a tungsten-correction filter (i.e., 81B) to correct for tungsten lights on the scene and dramatize the brilliant blue twilight sky. I really wanted to emphasize the stature of this great aircraft so I shot with a wide-angle lens from a low angle.
