It's ironic to me that Las Vegas would choose such grandiose icons as the Sphynx to highlight its landscape, since I believe someday mankind will be sifting through the ruins of Las Vegas in much the same way we do in Egypt today! That being said, there are some wonderful photo opportunities here, and the Luxor Hotel/Casino is one of them. We spent a whole morning on these grounds recording large and small-scale features of the rather ornate architecture and sculpture.
