This is one of my favorite "essence of Provence" images that I recorded on our adventure. It is unmistakably Europe, quiet, colorful, and enchanting, and just the kind of spot I could sit for hours. I snapped this (unfortunately) with my digital point-and-shoot one bright overcast morning. When I returned a couple of days later with my film camera, dark green umbrellas had been erected and the feeling lost.
