The village of Roussillon was a highlight for me on my visit to Provence. It is a very popular stop (especially for Americans as I noticed while walking the streets), that is easily accessed. It is unique amongst Provencal villages for its reddish-tinted buildings, explained by its location atop Ochre cliffs. I shot this image in the morning twilight just before dawn.
