Our first days in Provence found us at the mercy of our very gracious hosts for getting around the region. On the third day our hosts found us a super rental deal at the Ford dealership in Apt on this little beauty. We loved it and we loved the freedom of tooling about the inspiring Provencal countryside in our diminutive motor car. I snapped this photo of our chariot out in the middle of a vineyard where we pulled off to take in the bucolic landscape. Just a few hours later we would break into our little four-wheeler to retrieve the lone key that my not-to-be-named partner (Chris) inadvertently locked inside. Q: Ever been locked out of your rental car in a rural area of a foreign country where you neither speak the language nor even know the name of the person that rented the car? Me either.
