While extremely difficult to render realistically the scale of this mammoth structure, I decided to include a facsimile here. The distortion (non-straight architectural lines) present in this photograph reflect the use of a standard (fixed perspective) lens. Architectural photographers generally choose view cameras with lens movements to maintain proper perspective. I however, acting primarily as tourist and stock photographer, opted for a wide angle lens on a 35 mm camera.
