The town of Apt is one of the larger towns we visited in Provence. It has several grocery stores, a train station, and we even rented a car at the local Ford dealership for a very reasonable price. Perhaps the biggest draw to Apt is the bustling saturday market, considered to be one of the best in France. We attended and found the best in Provencal specialties of flowers, fabrics, and foods.
